The National Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Culture, and Media kicked off in Tehran with the presence of several officials and professionals in this field. The event, featuring the opening of a side exhibition and specialized workshops, is considered an important step toward the development and promotion of this emerging technology in the country.
Opening of the Artificial Intelligence, Culture, and Media Exhibition
Prior to the official opening of the conference, the Artificial Intelligence, Culture, and Media Exhibition was inaugurated with the presence of executives and officials from the national media. The exhibition provides an opportunity to become familiar with the latest achievements and technologies related to artificial intelligence in the fields of media and culture.
Holding Specialized Workshops
On the sidelines of the conference, around 15 specialized training workshops are scheduled to be held over two days, with the participation of prominent professors and experts. These workshops will provide participants with the opportunity to become familiar with specialized topics and practical applications of artificial intelligence in various fields.
Honoring the Award Winners at the Closing Ceremony
At the closing ceremony of the conference, the winners of this edition will be honored in various categories.
Great Opportunities in Artificial Intelligence
Seyed Mohammad Amin Aghamiri, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace, emphasized the great opportunities of artificial intelligence, stating: "Beyond the concerns that exist, artificial intelligence is one of the greatest technologies that creates significant opportunities with minimal cost for people in various fields." He added that artificial intelligence is an empowering and assisting tool for humans and has the potential to transform traditional structures.
Operational Indicators for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence
The Secretary of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace emphasized the necessity of developing operational indicators for the advancement of artificial intelligence, stating: "It is essential for all institutions to answer the question of what artificial intelligence means for them." He suggested that three indicators—productivity, cost reduction, and improvement in the quality and attractiveness of content—should be considered in organizations and ministries.
This conference is being held on the 18th and 19th of May at the Conference Center of the National Broadcasting Organization.
