The Second International Artificial Intelligence Congress in Medical Sciences, supported by Hamrah Aval operator, has started its activities on Wednesday, May 14th, at the International Conference Center of Iran.
This three-day event, which will continue until May 16th Artificial intelligence is held with a focus on applications in the fields of health and medical technologies

This congress is held with the aim of exploring the transformations caused by artificial intelligence in providing healthcare services. It includes topics such as personalized medicine, medical data analysis, the role of AI in pharmaceuticals, innovation in medical equipment, digital health, applications of generative AI in healthcare, and issues related to legislation, policy-making, and health management with a focus on smart technologies.

The specialized panel on medical technologies and artificial intelligence on the first day
On the first day of this scientific gathering, a specialized panel focusing on the role of artificial intelligence in medical technologies and equipment was held with the presence of university professors and health sector experts.
Hamid Behroozi, the Deputy CEO of Hamrah Aval in the technology sector, attended this specialized session and gave a speech on the impact of artificial intelligence in enhancing medical diagnostic systems and communication infrastructures.
Referring to the impact of artificial intelligence in faster disease detection, especially cancer, he said: "According to global statistics, every minute, one person loses their life to cancer. The use of advanced algorithms for early diagnosis can transform this trend and lead to the identification of diseases at earlier stages."
The vital role of artificial intelligence in the integration of technology and health
Continuing his speech, Behroozi emphasized the importance of communication infrastructures in implementing artificial intelligence and added: "Today's mobile operators go beyond providing basic services such as calls, SMS, and internet. They have the responsibility to create a secure and fast platform for leveraging modern technologies, which also plays a crucial role in the health sector."
He also referred to the shift in the role of operators from the traditional Telco model to the technological TechCo model and discussed the experience of companies like Verizon, which have taken significant actions in the development of communication infrastructures required for the health sector.
The Deputy CEO of Hamrah Aval continued by emphasizing the necessity of investment in advanced processing fields and considered "Edge Computing" as one of the key elements in the development of generative artificial intelligence. He added: "Hamrah Aval has also achieved significant accomplishments in this area."
