Google Veo 3
Google has announced that its advanced video generation model, Veo 3, is being made available to users in more countries. Users of the Gemini mobile app can now also take advantage of this model to create high-quality, creative videos. This move is part of Google’s broader global expansion of its AI services, which has received widespread attention and positive reception.
According to Google's official announcement, subscribers to the Google AI Ultra plan will have the highest level of access to Veo 3. This plan has officially launched today in the United Kingdom and is currently available in 73 countries. Google also has plans to expand this access to more countries in the near future.
Users of the Google AI Pro plan in eligible countries will also have limited access to Google's Veo 3 through the Flow tool. Additionally, a trial package including 10 generated videos will be available in the Gemini app to help evaluate the model's capabilities. Starting today, these users can also use Google's Veo 3 via the Gemini mobile app.
To further increase transparency about the origin of AI-generated content, Google has announced that all videos produced by Veo 3 now include an invisible SynthID watermark — a feature that enables users and platforms to identify AI-generated content.
In addition, a visible watermark will now be added to video outputs. However, videos created through the Flow tool by Ultra users will be exempt from this visual labeling.
Last week, Google also released a trial version of the SynthID Detector tool to a limited group of users and promised that the technology would soon be available to the public.
